The design and fashion grants offered by the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles are designed to support artistic creation and professional development in these fields, twice a year.
Grants
There are two main types of grants:
- Prototyping grants: This supports the creation of a prototype or capsule collection. The aim is to encourage the career development of a designer. The project must be ethical and sustainable. It does not cover the costs associated with the subsequent stages of production or marketing.
- Research grants: These fund research work or a feasibility study with a view to a future prototype. It does not require the immediate production of an object or collection.
Who can apply?
The target audience is anyone professionally active in design or fashion, living in Wallonia or Brussels. This includes creators, curators, stylists, designers, etc.
What are they for?
These grants enable artists to carry out innovative projects, test ideas or consolidate their artistic approach, while receiving financial support of up to €15,000.
