The World Expo 2020 in Dubai was inaugurated on 1st October. From 6th to 12 November 2021, the Belgian pavilion is hosting the Wallonia-Brussels week.
Wallonie-Bruxelles International and AWEX are organising a week of visibility for Wallonie-Bruxelles, which will be an opportunity to take advantage of the exceptional showcase that is Expo Dubai 2020 to present the know-how and excellence of the regions to visitors from all over the world: cultural activities, but also activities open to a more targeted public (universities, companies, official delegations) will take place in the Business Center of the Belgian pavilion.
A meeting place for culture and business
An economic mission is also being organised in conjunction with this particular week. It is organised by AWEX and will allow several sectors, including fashion and design, to present their assets and know-how in Dubai but above all to explore and understand the market.
The programme for this week includes two sessions focusing on the creativity and excellence of Belgian talent.
The NIYONA design studio, specialised in tailor-made leather goods, is offering a participatory workshop during which the brand is sharing its unique know-how and passion for the leather goods trade.
The design studio MLSTUDIO is offering a workshop entitled “Design the life you love”, which will allow participants to experiment with the creative process of mood-boarding and to exchange around this experience.
