EIT Culture & Creativity is launching a call for applications for its Fashion Adaptor Programme 2025, a European initiative dedicated to SMEs in the fashion sector wishing to accelerate their transition towards more sustainable, innovative and inclusive models.

Who is it for?
This programme is aimed at small and medium-sized fashion companies that have been established for at least three years in Belgium (or in the EU). Companies must demonstrate a clear ambition for transformation and impact in their sector.
Why apply?
The Fashion Adaptor Programme offers :
- personalised strategic guidance;
- networking opportunities with key industry players;
- increased visibility through a Demo Day event.
The aim is to support companies as they move towards more responsible practices, while promoting their creativity and capacity for innovation.
Which projects are supported?
Projects must be part of a transformation process based on sustainability and circularity, technological or social innovation, responsible economic models and inclusion and diversity.

What’s in it for a Belgian fashion SME?
In 2025, the Fashion Adaptor programme offers a 10-week training course (October 2025 to January 2026) for SMEs to give them the means to develop circular solutions. It is based on four pillars: capital, quality, globality and innovation in materials.
Taking part in this programme means benefiting from:
- privileged access to a European network of experts and partners;
- strategic support for structuring sustainable growth;
- international visibility at Demo Day, to attract investors, distributors and business partners;
- leverage to strengthen credibility and positioning in the Belgian and European markets.
Although the 2025 programme does not offer financial support in 2025, travel costs will be covered by the final event.
What’s the timing?
Applications must be submitted using the online form.
The process includes :
- Sept 2025: evaluation of applications (including press review, lookbooks, line sheets) by a committee of experts based on the criteria of excellence, impact, quality and effectiveness of implementation;
- End Sept. – early Oct. 2025: selection of programme participants;
- 20.10.2025 – 16.01.2026: training programme;
- End Jan: an invitation to the Demo Day for the selected projects (with costs covered).
