The Duos en Résonances project supports collaboration between a crafts(wo)man and a designer based in Belgium, with an innovative approach, an openness to experimentation and a desire to develop their practice. They share their know-how and the cross-fertilisation of materials and techniques.

Who should apply?
The call is open to craftspeople with proven expertise in traditional skills, and to qualified designers. Applicants must have at least 3 years’ professional experience, both must be resident in Belgium, and both must be open to collaborative and experimental approaches.
6 months of collaboration
From June to December, craftspeople and designers will work together on an intermittent basis, respecting each other’s professional activities, on the development of a joint project or idea. The aim is not specifically to produce a finished product that can be sold, but to question materials and techniques.
