Belgium reaffirmed its strong influence on the international fashion scene at the 2025 Hyères International Festival of Fashion, Photography & Accessories.
Designer Stéphanie D’Heygere sat on the accessories jury, while Julien Dossena, Louis-Gabriel Nouchi, and Marine Serre – all alumni of La Cambre Mode[s] in Brussels – served on the fashion jury.

Among the finalists, two top prizes went to La Cambre graduates. Swiss-Chilean designer Lucas Emilio Brunner (class of 2022) won the Grand Prix du Jury for a menswear collection that reinterpreted balloon shapes and Ivy League aesthetics.

Adrien Michel received the 19 M Métiers d’art Prize for his hybrid outerwear blending sportswear functionality with refined tailoring.
These wins highlight La Cambre’s enduring influence and the strength of Belgian design education, which continues to shape some of the most innovative voices in contemporary fashion
