The Milan-based Museum of Avant-garde Fondazione ETS is inviting entries for the 2026 MA-g Awards, an international prize dedicated to contemporary avant-garde practices.
Open to graphic designers, illustrators and photographers, this call for entries offers an opportunity for creators wishing to establish their work on the international stage.

Inclusion in the museum’s collection
The selected projects will have the opportunity to be included in the museum’s permanent collection, alongside works by major figures in the history of modern art (Rodchenko, Man Ray, Kandinsky, etc.).
This recognition forms part of the museum’s programme, which brings contemporary creations into dialogue with the great avant-garde movements of the 20th century, thereby offering a long-term exhibition within a demanding curatorial context.
An international jury
The MA-g Awards are distinguished by their selection system, which relies on a single judge (“Sole Judge”) for each discipline, comprising influential figures from the sector:
- Graphic design: David Hillman
- Illustration: Malaquías Montoya
- Photography: the Raghu Rai Foundation
This approach ensures a rigorous and committed assessment of the submitted projects, and recognition backed by international authorities.

Why apply?
Taking part in the MA-g Awards means:
- gaining visibility within an international network of professionals and cultural institutions;
- having your work included in a permanent museum collection;
- being part of an exhibition programme that fosters dialogue between contemporary creation and avant-garde heritage.
