Wallonie-Bruxelles Design Mode is a governmental organisation whose remit is to provide a public service. As such, there is no entry fee or membership.
However, our services and grants are available to sufficiently mature creators, designers and companies and in some cases, certain conditions of participation apply. The conditions of participation are detailed in each call for projects or call for applications.
This gallery is an international showcase of the design and fashion offering in French-speaking Belgium. A selection committee regularly analyses the applications. In order to be included, the designer/company must either have participated in a promotion organised by WBDM or meet the following criteria:

This document sets out the eligibility, registration and participation requirements applicable to companies and designers in the fashion and design sectors wishing to take part in a collective stand organised by AWEX, through its WBDM department, at events taking place within the European Union.
Terms and conditions (in French only).
It applies in particular to any application for one of the WBDM collective stands at international trade fairs such as Maison&Objet or Révélations and must, in this context, be expressly accepted by the applicant.

Belgium is Design is a programme promoting Belgian design internationally, led by its institutional partners Wallonie-Bruxelles Design Mode (WBDM), MAD Brussels and the Flanders District of Creativity. It highlights the diversity and uniqueness of Belgian creativity (product design, furniture, materials, etc.) and aims to increase the visibility of Belgian designers and companies on the international stage, notably through events, editorial content and a leading platform dedicated to Belgian design.
The Belgium is Design newsletter is aimed at professionals in the design and creative industries. By subscribing to the mailing list, you will receive invitations to our exhibitions and events, as well as exclusive information on the latest news and the international reach of the Belgian design scene.

WBDM can welcome on interns for at least 3 months and will publish a call when need arises.
The intern will work within the WBDM team and provide cross-functional support for its activities, undertaking tasks as determined by the team.
The placement is unpaid. It will be carried out partly in the office (Place Sainctelette 2, 1080 Brussels) and partly remotely on a full-time basis (38 hours per week). Part-time work may be possible.
