WBDM supports the Kikk, Festival digital and creative cultures in Namur (Belgium)

Organized in Namur from October 31 to November 3, the 9th edition of the International Festival of Digital and Creative Cultures, an event that last year attracted no less than 25,000 people, brings together professionals from the arts, sciences, economy, technologies, design, communication. 

This year’s theme is “Archipelagos of Fragility”, it will explore the different fragile aspects of technology and the different barriers these can ensue. It will also look at the fragility of our planet and its ecosystems.

Once again, WBDM supports the event by inviting international journalists, in collaboration with Wallonie-Bruxelles International, to experience this important event closely.

PROGRAM

Conferences (31st Oct. – 1st Nov.) // More than 40 conferences about Archipelagos of Fragility (our theme this year), creative coding, data visualisation, VR/AR, storytelling, machine learning, bioart, design, research and a lot more.

KIKK in Town (31 Oct., 1, 2, 3 Nov.) // An art exhibition in 20 different indoor & outdoor locations. Expect massive installations, façade interventions and a commissioned AR journey.

KIKK Market (31 Oct., 1, 2, 3 Nov.) // The Market, where you’ll find demos and sales, is the ideal gateway to discover innovative, technological and creative projects by Belgian and international entrepreneurs.
