Building on the success of its first participation in 2025, Wallonie-Bruxelles Design Mode (WBDM) will return to the Révélations biennial in 2027 as part of the Belgium is Design project.
This new edition confirms WBDM’s commitment to raising the international profile of designers and craftspeople from Wallonia-Brussels, who will once again be brought together at a collective stand in the heart of the Grand Palais in Paris.

Révélations: an unmissable event
Révélations is recognised as one of the most prestigious international events dedicated to the arts and crafts. Every two years, it brings together exceptional artists, designers and craftspeople from around the world to present their work to an audience of collectors, professionals and discerning enthusiasts.
In 2025, the biennial event brought together nearly 550 creators from 35 countries and attracted over 45,000 visitors to the Grand Palais, confirming its status as the leading international event for the sector.

A showcase of Belgian talent
Under the banner ‘Belgium is Design’, WBDM selects five contemporary designer-craftspeople who embody both tradition and innovation. Their work reflects Belgian excellence across a range of fields, including furniture, art objects, ceramics and textiles.
The Belgian collective highlights three key themes:
- the dialogue between artisanal craftsmanship and contemporary design: the pieces on display illustrate a subtle balance between heritage, research and innovation.
- sustainability and ethics: true to its values, Belgium is Design showcases creators who place environmental and ethical considerations at the heart of their approach.
- a distinct Belgian identity: characterised by clean lines, the use of natural materials and a keen sense of functionality, Belgian design stands out for its approach that is both poetic and pragmatic.

A springboard to international recognition
In this exceptional context, the presence of a collective ‘Belgium is Design’ stand represents a major strategic asset: it provides direct visibility to international professionals in the fields of arts and crafts and design who are specifically attending the biennial, including galleries, collectors, curators, publishers and influencers, etc.
This targeted exhibition fosters concrete opportunities for collaboration, promotion and networking, thereby sustainably enhancing the profile of designers from Wallonia-Brussels and their access to specialised, high-value-added markets.
