What pleases Déborah Franquet in design is the materiel and immaterial dimension; the emotive bond which exists between the object and its user.
Design should be about pleasure, function, amusement and playfulness. It should raise questions that sometimes cause us to see things in a different way; because objects should not be fixed. Her approach is to play with paradoxes, metaphors, irony and provocation, all with a touch of poetry.
