Project City-to-city 2008

Wallonie-Bruxelles Design/Mode and Modo Bruxellae are welcoming a delegation of Icelandic jewellery and clothing creative designers during the Modo Bruxellae Parcours de Stylistes (Fashion designer trail) (from the 24^th to the 26^th of October). This City-to-City project organises encounters between creative designers from different countries in order to create opportunities for international development via exchanging experience and collaborations.
The City-to-City concept is a new approach, initiated by the Trade Council of Iceland. This concept consists of informal encounters between creative designers from two countries, creating occasions to share experience on the approaches of the different markets, the good contracts, the distribution networks and channels in Iceland, Belgium and in other countries where the creative designers operate.
These discussions can also lead to possible collaborations, where both parties unite their efforts in foreign markets.
