Exhibition : Multiple Plan - Design crossroads in Belgium

The exhibition will take place in Essen (Germany) and coincide with a large event: Ruhr, the European Capital of Culture 2010 and within the scope of the prestigious Red Dot Museum. This organisation created one of the most renowned international design competitions, the Red Dot Design Award.

Multiple Plan means co-design', participative projects and cross-disciplinary works aiming at finding innovative solutions for a more ethical society.
The exhibition will present a selection of creative scenarios, projects and productions, objects (prototypes and products) and documents, images and multimedia, witnessing the conversations, the crossroad process (human and technical) and the prospective and visionary aspects of design.
The areas of investigation of this project make purposeful reference to the Red Dot activities: product design, communication design and concept design.
The critical approach, as much as the exhibition production is built on a narrative of exceptional and recent stories of human, cultural and technical encounters aiming at creating economic excellence and multi-linguistic quality of the made in Belgium'.
