A selection of approximately twenty pieces by designers from Wallonia and Brussels highlighting the performances of materials capable of interacting with the environment: high-performance composite materials, thermo- or photosensitive materials, shape memory materials and technical textiles. A metal foundation refreshing the atmosphere when the room temperature becomes too high, seductive lighting with changing colours, etc. A certain number of objects are a result from a successful encounter with industrial research centres and highlight these innovative materials or new technologies.
