Design Brussels - Cocoon 2007

Brussels, from the 17 th to the 25 th of November 2007. Presentation of the French-speaking designers, laureates of prizes awarded in Belgium in 2006-2007.

Design Brussels - Cocoon 2007During Design Brussels 2006, the Plastic Arts Department of the French-speaking Community in collaboration with the Wallonie-Bruxelles Design/Mode Agency, honoured the designers selected by the juries at the most renowned craft fairs in Europe. The option for the 2007 event is directed towards French-speaking creative designers nominated in Belgium during a design prize organised during 2006 and 2007.The various prizes that have been set up, both public and private, demonstrate a shared desire to promote Belgian design and create synergies with a direct link to professional structures of the related companies and industries.

Fréderic Richard, Prix Economie Design - Biennale du Design de Liège 2006 (Economy Design Award - Liege Biennial Award for Design 2006).
Among the designers of furniture and objects presented on this stand was Pauline Gorelov, who works in the field of textile design, and who has managed to carve out her own transversal path between art and design with her two-dimensional ornaments.

After graduating from Liege's Arts School, they collaborated on various projects under the collective of Mockä design and founded, in 2008, their own studio, TwoDesigners.
