Selected by WBDM for its international events
Since its creation in 1928, the "Compagnie internationale de Gobeleterie Inébréchable", today Durobor, hasn't stopped betting on creativity and innovation allowing it to acquire the most elaborated techniques of its time. At the time, the main innovation, besides a faster production rate made possible thanks to the mechanization, is the burn-off. It allows the reinforcement of the edges by the creation of a labrum making the glasses "unchipable" or in French "Dur-o-bord" (strong on the edge). Today, Durobor is hiring 210 people for a weekly production of 1,25 million glasses from which 1 million decorated.
